I got it all built but unfortunately the mining platform isn't rotating when the outer frame rotates. It makes a repeating sound like it wants to rotate, but then snaps without the mining platform. Any ideas for me?

I turned the machine, the pulley for the drills broke off, I placed it back, made sure it was glued, and now whenever I try to lower the drills, it breaks the pulley again.

vaults work good too they do it instantaneously and you can sort the output too using funnels. its more of a midgame solution so maybe a bit easier than a train

Yeah so what your basically saying is... well common sense.. don't use belts for long distance. Basically anyone with common sense would know if you need to transfer over long distances use something like a train that can haul massive amounts over long distances. Belts are never efficent over long distances. however your example around 2:22 is also just as inefficent. You're wasting stacks and stacks of iron and other resources to make those tracks, let alone the trains for such minimal distance, PLUS the trains in that example never reach top speed, so while you can say its "most efficent" thats not really a high margin.
